HELP WANTED!

Needed: Someone to help me stay alive throughout my senior year!!!

It's the weekend, FINALLY, and really, if today hadn't been Friday, I don't know if I could have gone on living, not even kidding. I think I've averaged about 4hours and 45minutes of sleep per night this week. It's insane how much harder it is to get up that 1 hour earlier for seminary....and how hard it is to stay awake during seminary when you only got 4hours of sleep the night before. Ya, welcome to my life, and that's just the first hour of the day! Once seminary is over I begin my arduous day at school. My classes consist of Computer Business Applications (easy, but not usually much free time in class), English 4 Honors (I'm not even going there yet...), THESPIANS!, Physics (again, not too bad, but I am always working until the bell rings), THESPIANS!, Anatomy and Physiology (not quite as hard as I expected, but we just finished the first chapter, and he said now it's time for the hardest part, so...), and last of all Calculus (doable, although I was 2 days behind in my homework...). Anyway, after the first week of school I'm thinking, "You know what, this isn't going to be too bad. I can totally handle this just fine, so long as I stay organized and take care of myself, keep my priorities in order." Now I'm thinking, "How am I going to survive the day?"

None of my classes are extremely hard, it's just having so many that actually take work that's getting to me. That and the fact that I can't ever seem to get to sleep on time and I have to get up at 5 or 5:30 every morning. Plus I have to worry about college and my future, which is also kind of a big deal. :) At least I already know where I'm going! (All I have to do is get apply once the applications are available and get accepted! haha). Also the fact that my two fun classes (thespians) give me just as much stress/take as much time as my other classes doesn't exactly help the situation. Auditions were yesterday and callbacks were posted today, and I'm pretty sure I worried about that way more than my A&P test that I took today.

Really, if I can just get myself to go to sleep on time, I don't think it will be such a big deal, I just need to get in the swing of things. Although weekends are definitely going to be my salvation! The thing that's kind of put me over the top is realizing that I have to write 5 papers this semester for my English class. Ya, that's one a month! Piled in with Calculus and A&P homework, musical rehearsals, seminary, and applying for college!!! At least the teacher is smart and nice, and encourages us to papers we have to write for other classes and applications as some of the papers for her class. I'm mostly just overwhelmed with the thought of having to do my very best (because she will take nothing less, trust me!) on a multiplicity of papers.

Well anyway, it's getting late and despite my 2 hour nap earlier, I am kind of falling asleep as I type. I just kind of wanted to...complain I suppose, let everyone know how hard my life is. ;) Not really, my life's great, but it really is going to be crazy this next year, so I thought I'd share how much I've realized that this past week. :) And hey, if you don't mind, try and catch a little extra sleep for me here and there, would ya? (If only it could really work that way...)

Motorcycles!!!

So I've realized that I only post about every two months....with two posts semi-close to each other, and then a two month break before the next two posts, haha. Anyway, there's lots of stuff that I should blog about and want to blog about that I haven't gotten around to, but I'm going to post about this first anyway. (Mostly because I know this post won't take near as long as the others, because there's not as much to say, hehe). So anyway, as most of you know, Joseph got a motorcycle about a month ago. I rode up and down the street on the back of it with him when he first got it, but I hadn't been on it since, until yesterday. :)

Joseph and I were going into Springfield to hang out with our friends, but he wanted to take his bike, and I didn't feel like driving in alone, so we decided to ask Mom and Dad if I could ride with him. :O Dad (of course) had no problems with it, but Mom on the other hand....well, she's a mom, haha. She was NOT excited for Joseph to have a passenger all the way into town, BUT, she consented. :) The ride there was a lot of fun, but it was very strange being on the road...not inside a car....but going just as fast as the rest of traffic. And communication....was basically non-existant, haha.

Unfortunately, the ride home was not quite as enjoyable. Well, I don't know about that actually....the uncomfortable things about it made it more of an adventure, haha. Let me explain. Joseph and I were running a little late for being home by the time Mom and Dad told us, so we just hopped on and got going as quick as we could. No big deal, except that my seat was wet from the dew. :( Joseph's was dry (of course!) but mine was....definitely not, haha. Then add to that the fact that Joseph was only wearing a t-shirt, and even though I had on a hoodie, I was wearing capris! It was definitely a chilly ride home for the both of us! Our friend left (in her nice warm car) about the same time as us, and when she pulled up to the stoplight next to us, she rolled down her window and says, "Nancyann, you look so scared!" "No," I informed her, "I'm just REALLY cold!" You see, my legs had been shaking like crazy through town. Eventually I was just numb though, so once we got onto 160, I didn't notice it quite as much, haha. But actually, once I got over the wetness and coldness, I think I enjoyed riding at night more. Mostly it was just really cool to ride when it was dark. (Although I'm sure Mom doesn't particularly like to hear that, hehe). Oh! And Joseph almost hit a bit at the four-way stop in Willard too! (I didn't see it though....that's just what he told me....)

Anyway, it was a fun experience, (and it made me feel really cool...), so I thought I would share. :) I hope you enjoyed hearing about it!
